AB Private Credit Investors (“AB-PCI”) is the private corporate credit investing platform of AB offering direct lending capabilities to middle-market companies across various industry sectors. AB-PCI focuses on directly sourced and privately negotiated investments in the primary issue market, while selectively pursuing opportunities in the distributed and secondary loan markets on a relative value basis. AB-PCI pursues a flexible mandate designed to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns by investing in unitranche, first lien and second lien debt as well as selectively structured preferred stock and private equity co-investments. Target companies typically have robust business models, strong competitive positions, sustainable enterprise value and predictable cash flow profiles. What You'll Do:
The Private Credit Loan Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the private credit loan portfolio. This includes monitoring and analyzing loan performance, ensuring compliance with loan covenants, and managing the loan closing process. The analyst will work closely with the investment team, legal team, and external service providers to ensure timely and accurate execution of loan transactions.

• Monitor and analyze loan performance, including financial statements, covenant compliance, and borrower communication

• Manage the loan closing process, including coordinating with legal counsel, reviewing loan documentation, and ensuring timely funding

• Coordinate trade and lifecycle activities between loan closer, back-office, Fund Administrator and Treasury/Cash management

• Maintain accurate loan records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures

• Work closely with the investment team to identify and mitigate risks in the loan portfolio

• Communicate with borrowers and external service providers to resolve issues and ensure timely loan servicing

• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and investors on loan performance and portfolio trends

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics

• Experience in the Private Corporate Credit space/middle market loan space

• 1+ years of experience in loan operations or related field

• Proactive, self-motivated, excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills

• Ability to effectively prioritize work, adapt and make decisions in a fast and challenging environment where tasks can change daily

• High attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and responsiveness

• Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word required

• Knowledge of private credit loan structures and documentation preferred

• Knowledge of PowerBI and SentryPM platforms preferred
